Only Jesus Christ could pay the debt owed for man’s sin; the acceptance of Jesus Christ alone saves the soul. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome Roger Mattox, a missionary to Africa. Brother Mattox shares the blessings he has seen as he has personally delivered thousands of the Expositor’s Study Bibles into the hands of African pastors and students. We are all called to be a witness by taking the gospel to the lost. Man’s sin problem is addressed through this relationship; it is an everlasting Covenant cut when Jesus Christ died on Calvary’s Cross. Brother Josh says no amount of good works can achieve this Covenent with the Lord; only faith in Christ's finished work can bring sinful man into this Covenant. The Bible is clear, Jesus is THE way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father but through Him.
