Believers have divine guidance through Christ, our high counselor; any other way of counseling falls under psychology, the two cannot be merged. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss the rejection of God’s grace and faith when the believer looks for another way for victory outside of the finished work of Christ. Jesus Christ came to cleanse the world of sin, psychology disregards sin and silences our need for a divine physician. Brother Joseph says we must realize that we are guilty of sin, and there is no earthly remedy for it. The comfort we seek can only be found in faith in the Cross of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.
