A dead and risen Savior is the substance of the Gospel. Today on The Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss what happened from the time of Jesus’ death on the Cross to the Resurrection. Christ spoke to the fallen angels in hell, and then delivered all the souls in paradise by leading captivity captive; releasing those believers in the paradise side of hell. They were there until Christ fulfilled the sin debt on the Cross; He then led them into heaven. God says, My Word will not return to me void. Brother Larson says there is great deception in the word of faith doctrine that says men can speak things into reality by quoting scripture. Brother Larson says men who preach, teach, and believe in this false doctrine must repent. It is only through Christ's death that all is achieve; through death, He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil. Hebrews 2:14
