Because of his faith and repentance, David’s sin was forgiven by God. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how God is a forgiving God. Brother Ragan encourages us that God does not discriminate against any sin, but even in our sinful condition, He will pursue us. The panel discusses the Redemption act of God when He stepped out of heaven to become man through the Virgin Mary. Brother Swaggart asks, why did God allow Mary to go from Nazareth to Bethlehem, nine months pregnant with Jesus, to give birth in a stable? Emmanuel, God with us, was fulfilled in Christ. His conception had to be supernatural so He would be a spotless sacrifice for our sin on Calvary’s Cross. He bore our iniquities.
