What keeps the Holy Spirit active in our lives? Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how to overcome the power of sin. Brother John says, the Apostle Paul said the strength of sin is law. Brother Larson says, as a believer, just the knowledge of what to do, doesn’t give us the power to accomplish it. Under the Old Covenant, man was to circumcise their heart, but the New Covenant offers this work through Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, which is now our power for circumcision of the heart without hands. From Pentecost going forward, man, through faith in Christ’s finished work, is afforded a victorious Christian life walking in the Spirit; for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, has made me free from the law of sin and death.
