Believers can find rest in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the yielding to the Holy Spirit, and how some believers resist this truth that the Lord has for all who will believe. Brother Swaggart says the Baptism of the Holy Spirit will always be evidenced by speaking in other tongues. The panel discusses Isaiah 28:11, and the historical use of tongues in the Old Testament to the prophecy of tongues to come in the New Testament. Brother John says the application then, leads to fulfillment now. Brother Larson reminds us, scripture says try the spirits to see that they are of God. When our faith is in Christ Crucified alone, the Holy Spirit will go to work to give us victory in our lives.
