Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome guest Pastor Jeff Williams from The Spirit of Life Church in Gastonia North Carolina. Reading Ephesians 4:11, the panel discusses the role of the Prophet in the early church and in the church today. Brother Swaggart reminds that all Prophets and Apostles must be called by God, and their message must be given by the Holy Spirit to guide the church. Brother Williams reinforces the importance being on guard of false teaching; we must know we are placed into His death by faith, then we can come out on the resurrection side with Christ, for He died, so all can live. When truth is imbedded in our hearts, the gifts come upon us because we have a burning desire to go tell.
