For prayer to be answered, we must have faith in Christ and the Cross. This is the only faith God will accept. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome special guest Pastor Joe Peterson from Christ Church, of Palm Harbor Florida. Brother Swaggart reminds us that Capitalism is of faith and is scriptural; socialism is not, and too much government will throttle progress. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. If one’s faith is in the event of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and not first anchored in the Cross of Christ, then idolatry can rise up in this second work; this then, can limit the victorious life that God has for every believer.
