God works in despised things to bring about miraculous things. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss the power of the Cross and the presence of God in a believer’s life. Many are called, but few are chosen; for when men are self-satisfied, they rarely answer the call of God on their lives. Brother Larson says it’s tough to admit that we’re nothing when we have pride in ourselves. Brother Swaggart reminds us that scripture says the poor heard Christ gladly. God wants us to trust Him for everything in our lives, for He has a special place for everybody who is willing to follow Him. Jesus said that if any man follows me he must deny himself and pick up his Cross daily.
