When a person is saved they are saved wholly. When a person sins, they sin wholly. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how when a Christian sins, their whole body, soul and Spirit is involved in the sinning. There is no partial sinning, and the same holds true for sanctification. When we put our faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior, we are purchased by a price and have a position in peace, which offers wholeness and completeness. Salvation means we are a new creation in Christ wholly. Now, God sees us through the blood of Jesus Christ, this is our position in Christ; however, our condition is, we still have sin that remains and needed growth. A person cannot clean up themselves; whatever the problems in a believer’s life, the only answer is faith in the finished work of Christ on Calvary’s Cross. At that point, the Holy Spirit will come in and do what needs to be done in the life of the believer for them to walk in the will of God and have victory. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, has made us free from the law of sin and death.
