The Doctrine of Hell is rarely preached in the modern church. In the New Testament, Jesus spoke more about hell than He did heaven, for our view of hell shapes our view of the good news of the gospel. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome Pastor Bill Bailey from Happy Gospel Church, in Bradenton Florida. The panel discusses the Battle of Armageddon and the deception, and perseverance of the evil one that tries to see that man doesn’t make heaven. Brother Swaggart says an eternity spent in heaven is as easy as saying yes to Jesus Christ. Church membership does not secure entrance into heaven, nor do good works; it is by faith alone in the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary’s Cross that saves lost mankind.
