Today on The Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Galatians 6:1, discussing proper restoration of a fellow believer who fails. We are to lift one another up and aid in the restoration process, pointing to Christ, as He alone offers spiritual healing. Knowledge and insight is important in our Christian walk, but we are not to puff up in pride as we grow in Christ. There is no spiritually elite in the message of the Cross, but rather, humility is found in the believer who anchors their faith in the finished work of Christ alone. The gospel is not about self, for in us dwells no good thing. It’s all about Him.
