Whosoever will, let him who is a thirst, come and take the water of life freely. Today is the day of Salvation. Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved. Have you given your heart to Him? Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how the fall ushered in sin and made man what man is today. Originally man was created just under the Godhead, in the image of God. Human beings cannot become God’s. Brother Josh says religion tends to put the emphasis on man and not God. Just as the tower of Babel, which man created to escape the judgment of God; if God were to flood the earth again, they could climb the tower to escape. Today we are seeing the fruit of man’s own thinking. Brother Larson says in the beginning, man’s potential was huge, when created in the image of God. Man walked with God in the garden and learned directly from Him. Being born again allows us to begin that process again, and we can forever learn the knowledge of God, through faith in the Cross of Jesus Christ.
