Ye that dwell in the dust awaken and sing, enter into my chambers. Today on The Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel welcome Pastor Bob Cornell of Covenant Church, in Murfreesboro Tennessee. The panel continues its discussion of the Doctrine of the Rapture of the Church confirming that rapture and resurrection mean the same thing. The Holy Spirit refers to the rapture, as Paul writes here, as a mystery. When a person dies, the physical body goes back to the dust and is referred to as sleep. Brother Swaggart says because at death the soul and the Spirit remain alive, the believer need not worry about whether the body is cremated or not. It makes no difference to the Lord; He is only concerned with the heart condition of man at death, i.e., saved or not. The Lord will have no problem putting the particles of the human body back together when we come to our glorified bodies. Then we will be perfected, and we shall be as He is; sin will not be an issue in our glorified state. Death will be swallowed up in victory.
