We must follow God’s way alone, and not design our own way. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Galatians 4:21-23 discussing how the believer is not to take matters into his own hands. Fleshly means will only put us under bondage to sin, for there is no freedom to be found in the flesh. Abraham and Sarah’s story with regards to a promised son, Isaac and not Ishmael, is a prime example of what happens when man tries to produce victory by means of self. Only faith in Christ and Him crucified can break the power of sin and fleshly pursuits to live a victorious Christian life.
