Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss having victory in the Message of the Cross, reading from Exodus 5:4. The panel explains why it seems the believer will come under greater attack of Satan when they place their faith in Christ and Him crucified. Brother Swaggart says this is to be expected because Satan is not happy that you now believe right. Satan wants to discourage us with his lies. Satan temps, God tests; the trying of our faith is God’s intent. Brother John explains how God wants to purify our faith, so when we are tried, we will continue to put our faith in Christ and His finished work. God turns everything for our good. We are being made into the image of Christ, and progressive sanctification will lead us to reach the lost for Christ. Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.
