Let this mind be in you that is in Christ Jesus. Today on The Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the selfishness of man and the love of God that can turn a selfish heart to a selfless mindset. We are called to live in liberty and not to be controlled by our flesh. Reading Galatians 5:14, we see the Apostle Paul teaching on the flesh and how freedom from law and sin will bring love in our lives. Brother Josh reminds us, when we make up our own laws and rules it results in self-righteousness; but Agape love, says we esteem others before ourselves. This is what God did, coming down to this earth as the man Christ Jesus. He put humanity first, giving His life for ours.
