Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Ephesians 2:14-16 discussing the law of old and what was accomplished by the Cross of Christ. This is how God deals with man. The law could not justify and could not bring unity, for the law created an enmity. Brother Larson explains how the law was purposeful, but it was to show man who he is without God. The New Covenant in Christ brings a unity of all who will believe on Him. This is the answer to all hate. There is an eternal value of the law, which reveals the nature and character of God. The law was a type and shadow of what was to come in a reality in Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
