He is the beginning and the end, the Alpha and Omega. He is salvation. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss God’s choice, a shepherd boy named David. The throne was promised to David’s seed. David was a type of the Messiah who will one day reign. Jesus Christ is going to one day take over the entirety of the earth. There is a simplicity in Christ that can stir a devotion. We must preach Christ and Him crucified. As man and government, the Lord has told us, we cannot change society; Christ does that. As believers, we must take the Gospel to the world.
