If you take away the salt and the light of the world, you take out the heart of a nation. Today on The Message of the Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how God calls all believers to be separate from the world but not isolated from it. If Christians isolate themselves then they cannot share the light of God with unbelievers. To be in the will of God, believers will have to leave behind many things, just as Abraham had to leave the home and family that he knew. Jesus said we must know that God is in us, and we are in God, and we are His children. Brother Larson says the benefits of the New Covenant are great; and faith in Christ’s finished work allows the Holy Spirit to reveal to our Spirit the things God wants us to know.
