The Cross of Calvary is not just a symbol. The majority of the church world has committed spiritual adultery by adopting a wrong belief system. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss those who do not accept the full and complete work of Christ’s death on the Cross will look to add something to it to try and achieve victory over sin in their lives, i.e., sanctify themselves. Pastor Paris, responding to the argument that Jesus loves us as we are; He does, so much so, that He died to change us. He died to save us from our sin, not leave us in it. He atoned for all sin, past, present, and future and He must receive all the glory, for our righteousness is as filthy rags. Redemption, through Christ crucified, is the story of the Bible.
