Any teaching, other than the Cross of Christ, is devised by man; once light is given, it must not be ignored. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Galatians 1:11; the Apostle Paul is warning the early church believers not to return to the works of Judaism. Brother Swaggart says it’s one thing to not know the gospel of Christ, but for teachers, then and now, who try to turn people from truth to law are putting themselves in a very serious position. Rejection of the finished work of Christ will only lead to destruction. There is victory in Jesus, our Savior forever. The panel teaches the importance of having the Cross as our right object of faith, setting the correct foundation for the Holy Spirit to then work in the believer’s life.
