Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Galatians 2:18 explaining the benefits of the New Covenant, as Jesus Christ’s death on Calvary’s Cross fulfilled all the law. For what the law could not do, exposes not a fault with the law, but that humanity could not fulfill the fullness of the law, but only Christ could. There is an eternal value to the law, and Brother Larson explains that the law has a transitory element. This confuses people. The law is the third great example of God’s character through His redemption plan. We need revelation of how God carefully built His foundation through creation, conscience, and law; as they all move up to the next level of God’s nature and character, which leads us to Christ through salvation and the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives when we only believe.
