The sin nature will corrupt the mind and the heart to deceive a believer to move their faith away from the finished work of Christ. But when faith stays anchored in the Cross of Christ, the sin nature will remain dormant in the believer’s life and then the Holy Spirit will go to work on our behalf to transform us into the image of Christ.
