We are sanctified at the moment of redemption. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how the believer is set apart by God at salvation. He has not only set us apart for Himself, sanctified us, but has freed us from sin, justified us. This is where the believer will now grow, as our faith in anchored in the Cross, the Holy Spirit works on our behalf to change us into the image of Christ. When we discover that we are justified, and God doesn’t throw us away every time we fail; we keep believing, ask for His forgiveness, and we WILL live out all the benefits that were already won for us at Calvary.
