HOSTING HIS PRESENCE IN OUR LIVES- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Tim Hill the General Overseer of the Church of God, of Cleveland Tennessee reads from 1 Chronicles 13:12-14 teaching on the holiness of God and the Ark of the Covenant. The wood and gold it was made of symbolized all the qualities of Christ, as He was one hundred percent God and one hundred percent man. God told Moses the Ark would be movable knowing the presence of God moves and can be found anywhere. Manna was put in the Ark representing God’s provision. The budding rod of Aaron was put in, symbolizing life; as it grew, it produced fully ripened almonds, showing maturity. In God’s presence, there is life. Then God included the tablets of the Ten Commandments in the Ark of The Covenant, showing the glory that is due God. Bringing the Ark back to Israel, and in all the excitement Uzzah puts his hand on the Ark to steady the cart, and he was struck dead. When the Ark, is brought to Obededom’s house it was respected, as the presence of the Lord deserves glory. David correctly brings back the glory to Jerusalem with the Ark on the shoulders of the priests and David worships the Lord. Believer will you open your door, like Obededom, and invite the presence of the Lord in?
