Saying yes to Jesus Christ removes man’s separation from God. This is where we find justifying grace and peace. Today on The Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Ephesians 1:1-2 discussing sanctifying grace and peace. This is a peace that passes all understanding. It is God’s will that those who are in this New Covenant can walk out a victorious Christian life. This is done when the believer anchors their faith exclusively in the finished work of Christ on Calvary’s Cross. Faith in self-efforts or religious works will do the opposite. The Holy Spirit will only go to work on man’s behalf when faith is in Christ crucified alone.
