Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Tonight Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Revelation 1:1. Brother Swaggart says we are living in the time of the Laodicean church, a backslidden church. The Holy Spirit, through John, gives messages for the seven churches of Asia. Brother Swaggart says we can be sure the church age is coming to an end with the rapture drawing near. We can have eternal security when we believe on Jesus Christ and His finished work on Calvary’s Cross; there is one condition, we must continue to believe on Him. Brother Donnie reminds us of the ten virgins, and the five who were foolish because they took no oil for their lamps while waiting for the bridegroom. The five wise virgins went in with him to the marriage; the door was shut, however, to the five foolish virgins. Brother John warns the apostate church, who is not needing or wanting the Cross of Christ. Pastor Donnie confirms, many believers are hearing messages that deify man, and bring the Blood of Jesus low; he reminds us, without the shedding of Christ’s Blood, there is no remission of sin.
