We cannot live a victorious life without the Cross. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Hebrews 4:9-13 discussing what the law could not do in the Old Covenant, but the rest the believer has In Christ, in the New Covenant. God’s rest is found in His redemption plan. We are to hasten to enter into His rest. The root cause, of the fall of many, is unbelief in the Cross, which was the true mission of Christ. Dr. Watts says, while the message of the Cross comes as a revelation, it is also an illumination to the believer, as we understand and learn how the Cross works in our lives to give us victory over sin. The Holy Spirit will move on every person who anchors their faith on His finished work alone.
