The believer should ever be giving thanks to the Lord. Tonight at Family Worship Center Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel read Colossians 3:5-9 discussing the peace of Christ in the life of the believer. Justifying peace means the believer has no more enmity with God. As the believer grows in faith, we see peace maintained, which is sanctifying peace. If we stray from God’s prescribed order of victory over sin in our lives, we will lose our sanctifying peace. We are changed into the image of Christ as the Holy Spirit works on our behalf because we believe on Christ alone. Self-efforts to fight sin will cause us to lose our peace. As we have received Christ, so must we walk in Him, by faith.
