14-Dec-2022
Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome special guest Pastor Bill Bailey from Happy Gospel Church in Bradenton Florida. Tonight the panel reads Hebrews 2:14 discussing the incarnation, God becoming man through Jesus Christ. The wages of sin is death, separation from God; for all who will believe, Jesus atoned for all sin at the Cross removing the cause of spiritual death. In Hebrews, the Apostle Paul’s major thrust was to proclaim the superiority of Jesus Christ over all things, and especially over the power of darkness. Everything Christ did showed forth the power of God, and yet the religious leaders of that day would not believe it. Brother Swaggart described Christ’s humble birth and earthly life and how it did not sit well with the religious elite who expected a nobler Savior. Brother Donnie says the religious of the religious crucified the most Holy of the most Holy.
