WHATSOEVER IS NOT OF FAITH, IS SIN- All lambs mentioned in the Book of Revelation, symbolize the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on Calvary’s Cross. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss sin; reading from Revelation 14:6-7. Brother Swaggart says we cannot fight sin on our own. The panel discusses the sin nature of man and the only answer for it is found in the Cross. When man tries to work out his sin problem, he creates laws for himself. The devil is relentless in creating havoc in the believer’s life; but God’s mercy and grace will never run out. Brother Smith warns us that trying to do good things can become a law, with faith being in what the law represents. We must not frustrate the grace of God by creating these laws for ourselves, for the strength of the sin nature is the law. When the believer does this to try and stop the acts of sin in their lives, the sin nature that was made dormant at salvation is revitalized. We must hold fast to our position in Christ; then, and only then, will the Holy Spirit come in and develop our character, thus bringing our condition up to our position in Christ.
