You are washed, you are sanctified, and you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read 1st Corinthians 6:11, discussing how the believer is set apart at salvation. We must beware, as now, Satan will come as an angel of light to steal, kill, and destroy the freedom we have in Christ. Unfortunately, oppression exists in so many Christian lives today in the form of fear, depression, anxiety, and addiction; however, with Jesus Christ living inside, a demon spirit cannot possess a believer. We must not create personal laws/works in an effort to earn something with God. Brother Joseph says true biblical grace always challenges the performance driven Christian. We can only stand against oppression at the Cross, for Jesus atoned for all sin and every problem of man. In Christ, we are separated from the ways of the world, and consecrated to the things of God. Pastor J.R. Armstrong, of MAG Church in Mauriceville, Texas says believing in the finished work of Christ for victory in our lives is far from having a license to sin. Anchored faith in Christ will result in Holy Spirit conviction and a believer will want to repent of their sin, because God will not be mocked.
