Satan is, and was, a defeated foe. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Revelation 20:1; studying the time that Satan will be bound for a thousand years. God has built His church these last 2,000 years and has allowed Satan to tempt and try believers. If we stand firm in our faith, these attacks will ultimately grow our faith, which takes time. Believers must be aware of the false doctrine that is all around us, even in the church. God is coming back for a pure and spotless church that is obedient to the faith. He is a merciful God and we can see His long-suffering. This is God’s redemptive plan, and He allows Satan this latitude so we will put all our trust in Christ. Brother Swaggart says bible prophecy is being fulfilled, but Satan is deceived of the outcome. Christ has already won the battle; His blood covers all when we trust and believe that He meant what He said; “it is finished”.
