THE EVIL ONE- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Ezekiel 28:11-13 discussing the fall of Lucifer in his pride. Brother Swaggart says we need to discern the spirits around us and seek the things of God and listen, for He still speaks to us today. The panel discusses how God ordains human government, and He expects us to be in the know about the things going on in our government and vote for what is right according to the Word of God. As Christians, we can take authority, in the name of Jesus over the powers of darkness at work around us. The enemy works through fear, but the Bible says the child of God has not been given a Spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) Before Lucifer’s fall, he was God’s chosen angel of perfection, leading worship in heaven. Today, discerning music is so important and the believer must guard their heart from emotional entertainment that falls under the disguise of “Christian” music. Our worship is to be anointed by the Holy Spirit, which gives God the glory, and Him alone.
