Believers are a restraining force to Satan’s efforts, and that is why Satan’s strongest effort is to twist the Word of God and erradicate Christianity. Today on A Study in The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss the prophecies in the Book of Daniel that clearly depict what Satan intends to do in regards to stoping the truth of God going out. Brother John explains the hatred for the Christian faith and Israel. Brother Swaggart says fallen angels and demon spirits are propelling human beings by these powers of darkness, and this is the spirit of the day deceiving the people with this hatred that wants to destroy the foundation of this country, which was founded on the Word of God. Brother Ragan explains how people all over the world, even believers, are accepting Communism because it comes in under a veil of social justice theology to make people think they are helping people. It appeals to the emotions of the people. The modern church will appeal to the social current of the people without even preaching on heaven, hell and sin all to bring in the masses
