Does the Lord appear today as He appeared to Daniel? Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss whether the Lord appears in episodes and situations during this present day and age? While we haven’t heard of any appearances compared to what Daniel had, we have heard of people, experiencing the Lord in certain ways, physically seeing or sensing Him; but not as profound as this. Daniel saw raw power. Many testimonies of healing have come to the ministry from countries like Iran. People have had dreams of the Lord Jesus Christ, even though there has not been an occasion for someone to witness to them, yet they have received. It is not impossible for the Lord to present Himself in such a fashion to an individual like that, but He has called the church to go ye out into the world and preach the Gospel. This is the means by which God has chosen for the Gospel to be heard, by the preaching of the Gospel. The Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than a two edged sword.
