Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 6:20, discussing how we are slaves to sin before being born again. There is only one cure for sin, and that is the Cross of Christ. There is no other. The only answer for sin is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. He paid a price at Calvary’s Cross that addressed every sin that hell could think of. Christ didn’t need to go to the Cross for Himself, it wasn’t that He ran afoul of Roman law or got mixed up with respected Jews. Jesus, who knew no sin, went to the Cross to atone for all sin of humanity.
