Today on A Study in The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the struggle with sin many believers find themselves in. The panel says a truly born again believer will be convicted when they sin. The Holy Spirit does that; if there is no conviction when a Christian sins, then something is wrong with our faith. A believer should repent of any sin. The panel discusses how there can be victory from the bondage sin may currently have in your life. That victory comes only when our faith is anchored in Jesus Christ and His finished work at Calvary. He paid a high price for our debt of sin. When we keep our faith in that, the Holy Spirit will go to work on our behalf to give us freedom from any bondage of sin.
