The power of the gospel is available to everyone who will believe. The gospel is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss Romans 1:16, for I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto Salvation. The gospel will always, without fail, save the lost. It brings life to those in despair. Jesus said I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Rome, in Paul's day, would downcast the gospel; even today, our nation is attacking the gospel of Jesus Christ. But Christians, who proclaim the true covenant relationship that a person can have with God, need never be ashamed. God will take every single believer into the realm of relationship, bring them into this New Covenant and not only give them eternal life but abundant life.
