Sin is not just a bad habit. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel study Romans chapter 6, discussing the seriousness of sin. Believers must know how to acquire the victory that has already been won by Christ on Calvary’s Cross. We must believe on Christ’s finished work alone, and this will give the Holy Spirit latitude to work out our righteousness we have in Christ. This is a renewing of the mind when our faith is properly placed; we must submit to what Christ accomplished for us. Psychological counseling is a false way that is of the world; it is not how the believer is called to the liberation we have in Christ.
