Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the principle of sin; the sin nature, which was past on from Adam to humanity. The consequences of the sin nature are that it has separated us from God, and man now operates on the principles of his own doings. Satan, who is the prince of the power of the air, leads the world system. Evil comes against all individuals, but at salvation, we are delivered from that power and the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of the Son. His laws and rules operate differently than the world’s system, so we must not try and take the world’s systems and put it into the kingdom of heaven, or the kingdom of the Son because they won’t function there. Believing on the Cross of Christ is the only way to living a victorious Christian life.
