Today on A Study in the Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss Satan’s persistence to defeat God’s people. With that being the single, most important thing on the face of the earth, the coming of the Lord in the form of incarnation; God becoming man. And everything done up to this point, every war fought, every battle lost, every battle won was leading up to this all important event. As a peasant girl by the name of Mary, and a peasant man, Joseph, her husband; even though Joseph had no part in it, they would be earthly parents for the Son of the living God, and He would be called Jesus, and would save His people.
