Faith in the finished work of Christ alone is how we can walk out a victorious Christian life. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the constant flow of the Holy Spirit leading, guiding, convicting, and instructing the Christian to have to have a spiritual mindset. This is not a mind to do spiritual things, but a mind that knows where to trust, where to place dependence, and how to receive grace. His grace is what provides us with the impetus and even the desire, to live the Christian life. If we don’t understand how to approach our walks with God correctly, the end result will always be a fleshly endeavor and a fleshly lifestyle, because the Holy Spirit has been frustrated. He has been grieved at our lack of understanding of the gospel, and He is not able to do what He wants to do in our lives.
