BLESSED TO THE 1,000th GENERATION- We must know the value of our redemption. Today at Family Worship Center, on day three of Family Camp, Pastor Shaun Murphy reads Deuteronomy 7:6-15 teaching on the goodness of God and the blessings God has for His children today, just as He promised the children of Israel after they were delivered by His mighty hand. Pastor Shaun encourages us that God will be faithful to us forever, for 1,000 generations. We saw at the fall of Adam, the serpent was cursed, the ground was cursed, and man became cursed; but there was one who would come and bring blessing, and reverse the curse, and bring man back in fellowship with God forever, Jesus Christ our Second Adam. The story has always been about Jesus. In Christ, we have an everlasting covenant, for Jesus Christ is the New Covenant. Sharing a story of restoration, through the relationship of brothers, Jacob and Esau, Jacob had to come to the end of himself, and only then did God bless him. God will supply all our needs. Reading Numbers 6:24-26, Pastor Shaun shares God’s declaration over us; that God bless us, and keep us, and be gracious unto us. When we are in Christ, we are blessed; our eternity is sealed.
