THE CHRISTIAN AND ALCOHOL- Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor Dave Watts as they read Ephesians 5:18-21 discussing the issue of whether a believer should partake in alcoholic beverages. Pastor Gabe says it is not God’s will for any Christian to partake in alcoholic beverage, for not one good thing comes from drinking. He questions the Christian’s motivation behind constantly having to justify social drinking. We, as the body of Christ, why are we trying to justify something that has caused more damage to homes, to lives, the loss of lives, the loss of freedoms. Why are we trying to give credence to that? It makes no sense.
