Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss a recent agreement between Israel and the nation of Sudan in Africa, west of the Red Sea. It is predominately Muslim and has been on the terror list. Al Qaeda has been responsible for various terror attacks in Sudan; however, they are made some agreements to get removed from the state sponsored terror list. Brother John says the generational hatred in Muslim countries is not resolved, and this is why we see it still playing out today. Brother John says the U. S. needs to be careful in facilitating peace with Israel with these Muslim Sunni countries, although it is very historic; with economic opportunities benefiting the Sunni nations from Israel's intelligence and technology and weaponry. The Rosenstern’s agree we must pray that this peace continues and it doesn’t backfire on Israel if she let’s her guard down. There may be four or five more nations that could join in such an agreement. The President is making it clear that Iran is the enemy, and therefore this is a strategy of numbers; getting these Sunni nations onboard with Israel. Brother Josh says peace, at this point, is better than a war in the Middle East; he adds that these three peace agreements are remarkable under one President’s tenure.
