Today on Insight, Josh Rosenstern discusses the US military’s plans to consolidate its presence in Syria, which is a northern neighbor to Israel. Currently, troops total approximately two thousand; these, may be reduced to one thousand. America’s presence in Syria has been to detour the existence of ISIS. The SDF, the Syrian Defense Force, has been backed by the United States. Turkey, whose leadership has called for the destruction of Israel, has been increasing its influence in Syria and pushing for a Palestinian state, a one state solution.
