Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern remind us that all that we see before us in World News, we must analyze through the lens of God’s Word and not the media. The IRS has settled in a case involving churches, as the IRS says pulpit endorsements during church services would be considered like family discussions. These recent cases before legislation would not fall under the Johnson Amendment, where a Texas Senator had smeer campaigns and brought this amendment, which was signed into law by President Eisenhower the 501C3 for non-profits, which prohibited endorsements and discussions over political issues. If this ruling holds, churches would be exempt from this regulation for 501C3’s.
