CORRECTIVE LENSES FOR PENTECOST- It’s time to get into the river; for the Bible says the Holy Spirit will be poured out on all flesh. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Paris Ragan preaches from Galatians 2:11-20, teaching how we are crucified with Christ. Brother Ragan says we must understand what it means to be Pentecostal. When we are baptized in the Holy Spirit, we receive power to be witnesses and to do great things for the Kingdom of God. Peter changed greatly after receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit; he had a confidence and boldness like he never had before. Pastor Paris says the infilling of the Holy Spirit doesn’t overthrow sin; but we must see Pentecost through the lens of the Cross, then we will know what role God has for us in reaching the world for Christ.
